Some territories are only releasing digitally, some are releasing the digital earlier than the physical, and some are releasing both on the same day. I am upset. I was looking forward to purchasing the soundtrack today. However, it is only sold at select Wal-Mart stores. I live in a small town and that’s the only place that sells music. Now I have to drive an hour away to get it. Of course I’ll make to drive…….

And here was I hoping my copy would come some time this week… mind you, seems like no one in the UK (except the actual fans, of which there aren’t nearly enough, but I’ve been trying to recruit!) seems to have noticed this massive phenomenon is even happening. I had to go to New York to get merch!
And yeah: UK PEOPLE. IT’S RELEASED DECEMBER 19TH.
This just means that when everyone in the US is sitting down to watch the movie, we’ll JUST be getting the soundtrack.
Obviously, I’m a huge fan, and I’m so glad to be seeing it whenever it gets here – it really looks amazing – but… what is with these crazy release dates for everything? I mean, really, if they moved it to the Harry Potter spot, why not do that EVERYWHERE? We would have had it Nov 21st then
