You can now hear the first single from the soundtrack, Paramore’s ‘Decode’ right here on the Twilight Soundtrack site! It was unveiled exclusively this morning on www.stepheniemeyer.com.
Hayley Williams from Paramore is a huge fan of Twilight and recently said about her love of the series:
“Twilight is the first series of books I’ve ever read. I didn’t get into the Harry Potter series even though I love the movies. Twilight really caught my attention and held it. I’m really excited to see the book adapted to film and excited that our band gets to be a part of the phenomenon. I chose the title “Decode” because the song is about the building tension, awkwardness, anger and confusion between Bella and Edward. Bella’s is the only mind Edward can’t read and I feel like that’s a big part of the first book and one of the obstacles for them to overcome. It’s one added tension that makes the story even better.” — Hayley Williams, Paramore

I love Paramore so much. Haley has an amazing voice and to be able to make it at their age and be so popular is amazing.
And Twilight is awesome. I’m really hoping this isn’t one of those movies that totally screws the books over though. It looks like it’ll be good, but there are so many movies out there that don’t follow plotlines, or screw up the way the characters look… Here’s hoping.
omg totally agree with KAT but the way edward and bella look is how i always imagined them edward is soo hot but i hope it doesnt screw it up for me like the 5th harry potter movie

I absolutely cannot stop listening to this song over and over again. Kudos to Paramore for being so amazing and for capturing the mood and intensity of Twilight so well in “Decode.” Love it! Can’t wait for the movie!!!

twilight is so good! i’m really addicted to reading books, but twilight really got something, and i so love paramore, the song is amazing, and i’m so happy that my fave band is going to be a part of it!!!what’s more heaven than that!!
i feel the same that haley felt. i tried 2 get into the harry potter books but i just couldnt. i actually read the twilight series out of order, im glad i did. i read eclipse first by accident, and it was so raw and romantic (rawmantic is my word 4 it), i fell in luv with the series. im seeing the movie and i luv the song decode.
